High Holy Day events held at Temple Sinai are to be announced.
High Holy Days include a blend of feasting, fasting, prayer, and inspiration. The High Holiday season begins during the month of Elul, when the shofar is sounded every weekday morning to signify the beginning of the spiritually charged Jewish season.
In 2023, Rosh Hashanah begins before sundown on Friday, September 15th, and ends after nightfall on Sunday, September 17th.
Following Rosh Hashanah, begins Yom Kippur. The Day of Atonement kicks off on Sunday, September 24th before sundown and ends after nightfall on Monday, September 25th.
High Holy Days are a time for reflection, introspection, prayer, and re-connection. We welcome you to join us in celebrating and observing these special moments. Come and join our congregational family for a spiritually deep High Holy Day experience.
